What Is an Encounter Retreat?

An Encounter Retreat is a three day period set aside to help the believer have an encounter with God. When
people set aside the time to encounter their Heavenly Father, He is faithful to show up. Our Encouter
Retreats are intense times of Teaching, Prayer, And Ministry. It will include opportunities to make sure of
your salvation, to be set free from bondages and curses, and to be Baptized or refilled with the Holy Spirit.

Where Is the Encounter Retreat Held?

For several reasons, we have elected to conduct the Encounter Retreats on campus at First Assembly of
God. One of the primary reasons for this is to keep the cost as reasonable as possible. If you are living in
the Crystal River area, you may be able to commute from your home. However, in many cases it may be
advisable for you to stay in a hotel or motel to avoid the distractions of home. It is absolutely imperative for
this three day period to be set aside for God without other distractions.

How Can I Attend One of the Encounter Retreats?

In order to be elgible to attend one of the Encounter Retreats, you will need to complete the seven week
PreEncounter class. This may be done here or at another church participating in the G12 Vision and
offering the class. Sign up for the Encounter Retreat is normally done during the PreEncounter. However, if
you will have completed PreEncounter elsewhere by the time of the retreat, you may signup by calling the

What Else Can You Tell Me?
You can expect that there will be men and women of God who have been praying and fasting for this event
for several weeks before it starts. There will also be intercessors who will bathing the entire Encounter
Retreat in Prayer from beginning to end. There will be qualified teachers and a prayer team that minister to
you on an individual basis. These members of the prayer team have been carefully screened and qualified
to carry out this important ministry. They are people who will take their duty seriously and are committed to
you receiving the touch from God that you need.
